Cat Sitting

Cat Sitting visits tailored to your cats needs. Each visit includes feeding per your feeding instructions, clean bowls, clean water, clean scooped litter, enrichment and playtime and all the attention your cats can handle (on their terms, of course.)

For most cats, 30 minutes is plenty of time for a good visit. Extended visits are available for larger cat families (3 or more) or cats who may enjoy additional lap time.

New Client Intake: No charge. Subsequent re-acquaintance visits are $30.00

Cat Sitting visits start at $30.00 per visit. Your custom cat sitting price will be determined by the number of cats (and other pets) in your family, and the time it takes to properly provide our high standard of care

Holiday Rate: Add $8 per visit to all visits for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Long-Term Cat Sitting – We’re happy to accommodate long term cat sitting requests with advance notice. We apply an automatic 15% gratuity to all pet sittings 10 days or longer.

Special Requests and Veterinary Visits: Special Request services such as garden watering or kitty concierge tasks, and Veterinary Care visits are not included in regular pet sitting prices. These special services will be charged by time – in 15 minute increments – at the base rate of $70 per hour.

Minimum Visit Requirement: We require that your cats are visited at least once every 24 hours, and do not offer Every-Other-Day cat visits. There is a purchase minimum of $75 (2-3 visits) for your first pet sitting with Meow Cat Sitting.

Little Critters

If your family has other small pets like guinea pigs, birds, fish, hamsters, etc - we care for them too.

Add-On Pet - $6 each
Solo Pet - $30 per visit

Home Watch

Periodic house checks for second homes, or your primary home when you are away for extended periods of time.

This service does not include pet care.

Home watch service is guided by our 22 point Check List. $30 per visit.

Dish and Dash cat sitting is not how things are done here at Meow Cat Sitting. I build a relationship with your cats. I spend time with your cats and incorporate a little kitty magic to help them feel relaxed and comfortable while you’re away. For you I provide Peace of Mind – the assurance that a reliable, mature, dependable professional pet sitter is caring for your pets and home.

What’s Included:

Time with your cats: Whether they are playful or shy, they receive my full and undivided attention – on their terms. Visits are usually 30 minutes long (for 1-2 cats) – and I’m not rushing out the door when my timer dings. Extended visits are available for larger cat families (3 cats or more), or if your kitties might enjoy some extra lap time.

Enrichment and playtime: I develop a relationship with your cats. I Play with them, encourage exercise and incorporate enrichment activities to keep them from feeling bored or lonely.

Comfort: I put energy into developing a relationship with your cats, so when you’re away they are cared for by a familiar friend. Shy kitties may take a while to warm up, and that’s okay. Our relationship will build over time, and on their terms.

Feeding per your instructions. Your cats will eat their regular meals from clean food dishes and enjoy fresh, clean water every day.

Medications and Special Needs: If your kitties are on special meal plans or require medications I am experienced with administering medications. I do my best to emulate the method and routine you use for their special needs care.

Litter Box Care: All litter boxes will be thoroughly scooped at every visit. The box area is swept/vacuumed clean and boxes are topped up with fresh litter you provide.

Lite House Sitting Tasks: For your convenience I will bring in your mail, papers and packages. I will be happy to water indoor plants weekly. (For an additional charge, I can also water patio gardens and veggie gardens in Spring and Summer months.)
