Maripage Grubic, the owner of Meow Cat Sitting, has been a professional pet sitter for 8 years. She started Pet Sitting in 2011 for all family pets, and specialized in cat care in 2018. Maripage earned her pet sitter education through PSI, maintains her certificate in Pet First Aid & CPR from Pet Tech, and was a Pet Tech Instructor from 2013-2018. She prides herself on having a clean background check and maintains her Bonding and Insurance. Maripage has volunteered for, and provides financial support for Asheville Humane Society, Asheville Cat Weirdos and Applachian Wild. Maripage is a memeber of the Asheville Area Professional Pet Sitters Association, and IBPSA, and maintains her pet-care education through course studies from FetchFind, Fear Free Pets, PSI and other resources. Maripage is passionate about cat-care, and providing a stress-free cat sitting experience for cats and their humans.
Maripage’s daily Inspiration…
Kit-E is a sweet and playful Tuxedo kitty. He keeps me entertained and is an excellent distraction from my office work. If you asked me to describe my “ideal cat”, Kit-E is the one. He’s easy going, just the right balance of playful and chill, and likes to be social. He loves to play, hang out on the porch or watch over the neighborhood from his favorite window seat. He is the official toy tester, office work distraction, and fuzzy alarm clock (Especially at 4:30am when He thinks its time for breakfast!)
Jackie was my first, ever pet sitting assignment – way back before I started my pet sitting business. She was still a youngster, and belonged to a work associate. She came to stay with me for two weeks. Her owner never returned. Fifteen years later, Jackie is still with me and the sweetness of my heart.
She’s my little helper, companion, foot warmer and snuggle bug. Even in her senior years, Jackie is a playful, social girl, and her job is reminding me to take breaks for fun every day.
